SAFE SLEEP FOR OREGON’S INFANTS

This is a required training on safe sleep practices for all providers working in licensed facilities and homes. The goal of this training is to provide early educators with an opportunity to learn about safe sleep practices and to identify and prevent risks to the babies in your child care program. Set One; CKC: Health, Safety, and Nutrition; 1 Hour. This is a FREE class.

There are three ways to complete the State of Oregon mandatory self-study, safe sleep training, “Safe Sleep for Oregon’s Infants.”

Take Online Independently

Take the self-study class on-line at your convenience, whenever you like. Expect the spend 1-2 hours completing the training.

Take Online with Support at CCR&R-MC

CCR&R-MC has computers available at our office for educators’ use. Please call 503-491-6205 to make an appointment for computer assistance with on-line training.

Pick up a Self-Study Packet at CCR&R-MC

A limited number of paper copies of the self-study training are available from your local CCR&R-MC. These are available for providers who do not have computer access. Please call our front desk at 503-491-6205 to request a self-study packet. You will be responsible to mail your completed training to the ELD/State of Oregon.

If you currently have a license, the deadline to complete this training is January 1, 2019.
